We are now recruiting to 3 Consultant Acute Medicine vacancies with a University NHS Trust in the Midlands as they look to expand their Acute Department.

These appointments would be on either a substantive or NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant Geriatrician basis (salaried).

This NHS Trust is the regions newest purpose built acute hospital and has the regions only rooftop helipad. The Trust is ranked in the top 20% of Acute Trusts in England for staff recommending them as a place to work and receive treatment. Vacancy Information
Our client has secured significant funding to expand and reconfigure the redesign their Emergency, Urgent and Acute Care Services to ensure they have the facilities and pathways to meet the changing needs of its patients. Their assessment units are being expanded and will provide focus to frailty and mental health pathways, with this in mind they continue to add further Consultant to their team.

Main duties will involve working across the MAU and cSDEC (Medical Same Day Emergency Care) and provide reach to their ED. MAU is a 57 bedded unit. When working MAU for the day you will be a team of 3 Acute Medicine Consultants contributing to clinical care along side the Junior doctor, ACP workforce and ward MDT.
