NHS CONSULTANT GENERAL & INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGIST – BEDFORDSHIRE
Dear Dr,
We are working with an NHS Trust in Bedfordshire to help recruit to their Locum Consultant General & Interventional Radiologist vacancy on an NHS 12 Month Fixed Term basis (salaried, not hourly rate).
This is a new post created to support the redesign and development of the interventional radiology services at this Trust. The Trust has invested £150m in a new building, which will house two new high spec hybrid theatres to commence clinical work in 2025. This development is part of the relocation of the Regional Vascular Hub from it's current location to our clients, hence why their workforce is in preparation for this exciting move.
Our client achieved an overall “Good” CQC rating in 2022. They are a regional centre of excellence for several key specialties, are a tertiary level NICU provider and one of the largest centres for breast screening in the country.
A second subspecialty interest such as HPB and GI imaging would be considered highly desirable, however not essential.
Bi-annual FRCR courses as well as numerous other courses for postgraduate doctors are conducted by the Radiologists within the department.
