We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Paediatrics department.

This post is divided into two parts. 50% of the time the post holder will be expected to focus on educational work, liaising with teams, developing programmes and delivering teaching. The other 50% the post holder is required to work a full on call system delivering clinical care at registrar level in a department which is aligned to their training interests and level.
The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as: work with the Director of Education & Education and Training leads in providing training as required for our trust staff, with a focus on medical education, help with the development and delivery of Undergraduate teaching within the trust, work with the College Tutors to plan and deliver other clinically focused education and training as applicable for the doctors in training, post holder will support the Junior Doctors reps in developing their team and improving the training experience of all junior doctors, opportunities for the post holder to develop their own medical education interest or projects & will be expected to take part in clinical governance activity, including clinical audit, clinical guideline and protocol development and clinical risk management
