We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Care of the Elderly on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.

The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as: In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to provide a service in Elderly Medicine with responsibility for in-patients and outpatients, In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department. This includes being on-call for telephone advice and major incidents, to provide cover for Consultant and Senior colleagues in respect of periods of leave, In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to take part in medical audit and research as appropriate & to play a full part in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff amongst other various duties.
