Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine

We have been appointed by one of the well performing NHS Trusts in South East England to help recruit a Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine doctors on a Permanent/NHS Fixed Term basis.

Our client are currently one of the biggest trusts within the UK with over 20,000 NHS experts working within this trust. At the site you'll be working at is a pioneering hospital who are responsible for acute and community health services, a specialist hospital for acute surgery and in fact is where the world's first IVF baby was delivered. In fact, one reason for their successful CQC rating is their inclusivity and teamwork.

The successful appointee will be expected to undertake various duties, such as: expected to take part in the assessment and management of acute patients admitted to the AMU, include taking part in the daily assessment of patients, initiating management plans for these patients and performing procedures (under supervision if needed).The appointee will also be expected to take a lead role within board rounds and MDT meetings & include the management of patients requiring non-invasive ventilation and CPAP.
