We have been appointed by one of the well performing NHS Trusts in South East England to help recruit a SHO in Acute Medicine doctors on a Permanent/NHS Fixed Term basis. I wondered if this might be of interest to you or if you knew someone who you could recommend to me.
The appointee will be joining a trust currently undergoing a transformation where a new state of the art hospital is being under the government's £3.7bn national ‘hospital infrastructure plan', where the ambition is to use this opportunity to make hospital services better for local people and better for NHS staff, and to improve health and care for people in our area. The successful appointee will be expected to undertake various duties, such as: Attending Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, Clerk and post take administration; writing in patients notes, Investigating and initiating medical management, Triage to medical teams/acute physicians as appropriate, Participate in ward rounds & Co-ordinating discharges with MDTs (Multi-disciplinary teams) and outside services to achieve what is in the patient's best interest.
