We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.
The successful appointee will be joining a well regarding Diabetes and Endocrinology team of 10 consultants & 4 specialty registrars, the appointee will be working for a department that will roughly serve over 500,000 and the workload will comprise of inpatient, outpatient clinics and DOT Support. Furthermore, this post also entails other duties such as assisting with clinical governance & audit, administrative duties such as attending MDT meetings & even will help develop the diabetes and endocrinology services appropriate to the need of the population in partnership with the other consultant Diabetologists and with support from the Clinical Director which will include mentorship support from the clinical director for the appointee.
Our client are currently undergoing a new strategy & values which will boost this trust in the aftermath of COVID-19, the trusts strategic points are quality, people, pathways, ease of use & sustainability which are all underpinned by the trusts values. In addition, over the past few years the trust have undergone one of the most complex service reconfigurations in the NHS – both to deadline and budget. Under the banner of the Our changing hospitals programme, which saw an investment of £150 million to improve this trust.
