We have just been approached by our NHS Teaching Hospital in Yorkshire to help recruit them a ST3+ and a SHO in General Medicine, both on NHS Fixed Term contracts of at least 12 months or on a permanent basis.

Our client is one of the largest and busiest Trusts in Yorkshire, with this teaching hospital NHS Foundation Trust providing a comprehensive range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services for approximately 800,000 people living within the area. In particular, Our client is to benefit from a £40 million share of funding, following a successful bid by the Trust for capital investment and as a result the funding will be used for such things, as enabling the creation of a Combined Emergency Assessment Unit, where staff from a range of medical specialties can work side-by-side in a single assessment area, close to the front door and diagnostic support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to try a variety of different specialties within the department. In particular with the SHO position, rotations are being offered in Acute, Elderly, Rehab & Emergency Medicine or alternatively if you wish to specialize in either of these then that can be arranged. With the ST3+ position, you'll have the option to choose your specialty which vary from Respiratory, Elderly, Acute Medicine & even Gastroenterology.
