We have been assigned by one of London's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Neurologist on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Neurology department.
Our client is one of the largest and busiest Trusts in London, with an annual turnover of almost £700 million and has won a London NHS Parliamentary Award in recognition of a wide range of initiatives to make the organisation a great place to work.. In addition, the Trust's staff retention is now in the top five in London, with 89% of staff staying at the organisation.
The appointee will join a team of three Consultant neurologists and a full-time specialty doctor in Neurology, supported by a Nurse Specialist in Parkinson's disease to provide a comprehensive Neurological service. The team has strong links with the Regional Neuroscience Centre at King's College Hospital, and the successful candidate will be encouraged to join the weekly Academic Neurology and Neuroradiology meetings at KCH.
Along with the Clinical Responsibilities, the appointee will undertake responsibilities such as Medical Education & Teaching, Clinical Audit & Governance. Policy, Planning & Management and CPD.
