We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in Rheumatology on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.
Our client is one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England, serving a regional, national, and international population. The trust is are a regional centre for cancer, bone marrow transplants, trauma, renal dialysis, burns and plastics, HIV and AIDS, as well as respiratory conditions like cystic fibrosis; thoracic surgery and have the largest solid organ transplantation programme in Europe alongside with the fact that they are a designated a Level 1 Trauma Centre and host of the UK's only £20m National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre (SRMRC) The trust is located within Birmingham, one of the biggest and culturally diverse cities in the UK with access to a major international airport and with close transportation links to big cities such as London.
This hospital is well renowned for their good working relationships and friendly environment. This is a University Hospital with links to trusts throughout the West Midlands which will offer opportunities to strengthen its teaching and R&D and bring a more academic environment to the hospital.
Successful candidates will join an established Consultant and MDT in developing and delivering Rheumatology services where the Directorate of Rheumatology is undergoing an exciting period of expansion to meet the needs of a rising demand in Rheumatologically Needs
