Locum ENT Consultant

This Consultant level role based in the South West of England is a NHS fixed term position for up to 12 months, with a view to creating a substantive post. The ideal candidate will have a specialist interest to complement the existing consultants.

The Trusts vision is to combine community and hospital services to provide safe, compassionate, and high quality care to improve the health and wellbeing of the local people.
The post holder will lead specific duties as part of the development of a multi-disciplinary team approach to care within the specialist unit. They must be an effective communicator and have a professional attitude towards work.

The hospital is based in a beautiful location with the catchment area of the Trust being set amongst historic towns that are interspersed with areas of natural beauty. There are excellent recreational and sporting facilities in the area and good rail links to Brighton, London and Europe via the Channel Tunnel or Eurostar and to international airports.

The appointee must have the following to be eligible for this post:

• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise.

• Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons

• Wide experience in all aspects of Ear Nose and Throat

• For candidates who reside abroad you must have completed the necessary IELTS / OET and/ or PLAB 2 before applying. You must be able to satisfy the language test requirements for both GMC registration and UKVI remits.
