Applications are invited for the position of a Reporting Sonographer to join an excellent trust based in North East of England.
The appointee must be a Registered Health Professional with an appropriate post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and evidence of relevant experience. You must also have HPC registration. There may be a requirement to work flexible hours to meet service demands.
The post holder will possess excellent communication/organisational skills, be tactful, diplomatic and able to work alone and as part of a team in this busy department. In addition you may be involved in the supervision of student radiographers.
You will be expected to assist ultrasound superintendent to provide an ultrasound imaging service and carry out ultrasound investigations without supervision and report results independently.
