Registration Requirements:
Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
Specialist Register of the GMC in Radiology.

Fitness to Practice
Is your knowledge up to date and are you fit to practice safely?

Training:

In all aspects of the specialty and in any subspecialty required at an appropriate level
Clinical Skills Wide experience in the specialty and in any sub-specialty interest

Do you possess relevant Specialty Knowledge:

Teaching students and Junior Doctors

Clinical Audit:

Show an understanding of the development needs of trainees and how these can be met

Knowledge of a range of educational methods
Academic Achievements.
Research and Publications.
Are you able to present information in a clear and concise manner?

Language Skills All applicants to have demonstrable skills in written and spoken English that are adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues which could be demonstrated by one of the following: -

• Applicants have undertaken undergraduate medical training in English

• Applicants have scores in the academic IELTS or equivalent equal to those required for recruitment to MMC Specialty Training Programmes

If applicants believe that they have adequate communication skills but do not fit in to the examples above evidence should be provided
